The holiday program “An American Christmas” features Robin Meloy Goldsby’s unique arrangements of familiar holiday melodies, new compositions from her album, “Home & Away”, and charming stories about Christmas in Europe and the USA.  Romantic, nostalgic, humorous, touching… a lovely evening of music, words, and December magic. The program will be presented in German and English. Robin will be joined by German actress Heike Bänsch.

Pianist Robin Meloy Goldsby is the author of Piano Girl; Waltz of the Asparagus People; Rhythm; and Manhattan Road Trip. She is a Grammy-nominated lyricist. A Steinway Artist, Robin has seven solo piano recordings to her name. She is a cultural ambassador with artistic ties to both Europe and the USA, and has presented her reading/concert program for numerous transatlantic organizations worldwide.

Heike Bänsch is successful as an actress throughout Germany (“Siddhartha” by H. Hesse, “Paradiso” by L. Winiewicz) and Europe (“The Chairs” by E. Ionesco). She is well known for her seminars as an expert on presence, voice, and body language in university hospitals, for her academies throughout Germany, and as a coach for businessmen and -women. Ms. Bänsch creates lyrical readings as well as art events for companies, and works as a theater director.
