Center on Capitalism and Society announces: Peter Jungen agreed to be Chairman

Peter Jungen to develop the Center's activities directed to future of capitalist systems
Peter Jungen, Peter Jungen Holding GmbH, has agreed to join the Center on Capitalism and Society as Chair of the Advisory Board. According to Prof. Edmund Phelps, Nobel Laureate 2006 and Director of the Center, Peter Jungen will help to restructure and develop the Center's activities directed to the future of capitalist systems with particular emphasis on dynamism and inclusion.
The Center on Capitalism and Society has just held a very important conference in New York "Emerging from the Financial Crisis". The conference speakers included: Professor Edmund Phelps (Nobel Laureate), Robert MundeIl (Nobel Laureate), Joseph Stiglitz (Nobel Laureate), Professor Jeffrey Sachs, Professor Robert Shiller. Speakers from the public sector were: Paul Volcker, Chair of the US President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board, Mme. Christine Lagarde, Minister of Economics, Industry and Employment, France as well as Professor Lucas Papademos, Vice President of the European Central Bank. As speakers from Germany Dr. Josef Ackermann, CEO Deutsche Bank and Peter Jungen, President European Enterprise Institute, participated.
