Amerika Haus e.V. Northrhine-Westphalia is dedicated to the strengthening of German-American relations.  We act as a platform to provide networking possibilities in matters of politics, economics, culture and personal contacts.  The instruments we employ for transatlantic dialogue between the USA and Europe are: interdisciplinary exchange, lectures, workshops, concerts and other events. Amerika Haus NRW provides the basis for a diverse network at the local, regional and supra-regional level. Our geographic outreach focuses on the German state of Northrhine-Westphalia as well as Brussels, as seat of the European Union. We are a non-profit Public-Private Partnership which, under the patronage of  Minister President Dr. Jürgen Rüttgers, has positioned itself as an independent network spanning all of NRW.
