Summer Party
Cologne: »4th of July Party«
On a sunny evening we were happy to welcome representatives of North Rhine-Westphalian politics, economy, and cultural life as well as families with both German and American backgrounds to a barbecue and live music by the Cologne Skyline to celebrate the American Independence Day. About 400 friends and members of the Amerika Haus e.V. NRW were dismissed at the Rheinterrassen in Cologne with a big firework and the American anthem to close our celebrations for the fourth of July. We would like to thank all of our supporters and announce that despite all logistical effort, we are looking forward to July 4th, 2013 – driven by the intention to establish this holiday as a tradition of transatlantic friendship in North Rhine-Westphalia.
