»Yes, we can? Barack Obama and the Limits of Reform in the USA«
featuring Christoph von Marschall, US Correspondent with Berliner Tagesspiegel

The USA experienced an election year with an unusually heated debate in domestic politics. At the beginning of the year, President Obama and the Democrats experienced a hard loss with the Senate race in Massachusetts. After his surprising sucess with health reform and relations in Russia, Obama has continued his efforts to reform the financial markets, immigration law and energy policies. It's a risky course. The Republicans are betting on the fact that Americans cannot tolerate so many changes especially in the face of a deep financial crisis. The protests from groups like "Tea Partiers" seem to confirm this. But who really has the upper hand?
