Mateo Klemmayer learned to dance with John Neumeier in Hamburg and after numerous successful performances with various companies, he eventually landed at the San Francisco Ballet. His American dance colleagues invite him to Cologne regularly to dance together on the city's stage.

A transatlantic bridge is formed by the impressive choreography and shows just how interconnected yet simultaneously complementary German and American culture - even in dance - can be. Maja Ellmenreich, director of German Radio with experience in the US, will speak with Mateo Klemmayer and the American dancers about the artistic way of life with regards to the transatlantic cultural bridge in particular.
