»Beyond Washington: The Influential Role of the Federal States in U.S. Politics«

Chris Steineger, a senator in the state of Kansas, spoke on the role of the States in the U.S. political system. He identified priorities and political instruments and analyzed the tensions between state and federal policy in view of current challenges.

As part of the traditional American town hall meetings Senator Chris Steineger held a keynote lecture before he faced the questions and comments from the audience.

A town hall Meeting is an informal public meeting, which is usually held at the town halls and in which everyone is invited to participate, express his opinion freely and to listen to the responses of public persons and elected representatives.
