Ten years after the political scandal which kept America on its toes during the nineties, Gormley gives us a detailed and fascinating view behind the curtain and illuminates the details of these legal disputes. Gormley's book caused a stir even before its publishing, as it promised explosive new revelations of the Clintotl_files/articles/programm/veranstaltungen/2010/Gormley_publikum_web.jpgn-Starr scandal. It is counted as THE work about the political drama, that captivated the nation and almost brought down the presidency of Bill Clinton.

“The Death of American Virtue” was named editor's choice of the New York Times and placed high on the New York Times-Bestseller List.

In cooperation with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, the Deutsch-Amerikanischen Juristenvereinigung DAJV and the Lehrstuhl für US-Amerikanisches Recht der Universität zu Köln.
