New York PhilharmonicOn Thursday, 2nd February 2012, the New York Philharmonic were guest in the Cologne Philharmonic.
The New York Philharmonic, founded in 1842 in New York, is one of the oldest and most prestigious symphony orchestras in the world. Since 2009, under the baton of chief conductor Alan Gilbert, it combines traditional and modern European and American classical music.

As members of the board of the New York Philharmonic, Peter Jungen, Vice Chairman of the Amerika Haus e.V. NRW and U.S.-Ambassador Philip D. Murphy, on February 2nd, 2012, invited to the Wallraf Richartz Museum in Cologne and offered the opportunity to meet the orchestra's musicians during a Walking Dinner.
