Leverkusen: »Dancing To Connect«
As an Outreach Project the Amerika Haus e.V. NRW was happy to set up a workshop with a group of dancers of the Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater at the Städtische Gesamtschule Leverkusen-Schlebusch this year. The dancers from Minneapolis accompanied by Artistic Co-Directors Stuart Pimsler and Suzanne Costello developed a choreography with the students.
Since founded in 1979 by Suzanne Castello and Stuart Pimsler in New York the Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater draws attention to community engagement via the arts of dance and theater and on that account has been honored by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as well as by the National Endowment for the Arts.
