Benjamin R. Barber is one of the most influential political analysts on civil society in the US. He regularly advises American and foreign political and civil society decision makers on questions of democracy. He also served as an informal advisor to former US president Bill Clinton for many years.


His expertise has made Benjamin Barber a highly sought after commentator and author for the American and European media (television, radio and print) including National Public Radio, The Huffington Post, Harper’s Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Le Nouvel Observateur, Die Zeit, La Repubblica, El Pais and many academic publications. He holds a degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a doctorate from Harvard University.
