The american way of music - from the revolution to jazz!

There are many orchestras, but a flute orchestra is still very unusual in Germany. These are often seen in the U.S., UK and in Benelux countries. The “GutKlang” Erftstadt is one of the most successful German flute orchestras and has won many awards such as German champion in their category of the German Orchestra Competition 2008. 

At the concert the guests could not only experience the wonderful sound from the combination of piccolo to bass flute, various mallet instruments such as marimba, vibraphone and Xylo and various rhythm instruments. It was also shown how music has developed in the United States. The theme of the concert was "The American Way Of Music" - From the Revolution to the Jazz. From well-known traditional American songs like "Brooklyn Bridge", to jazz, the guests were taken on a trip through the American music history.

The concert was held in the auditorium of Lechenich school center.
