Three continents came together when dancer André Jolles (Germany), dancer Dawanivéria Mafunga (Mosambik), and musician William Parker (USA), met in Cologne to improvise on the same stage. The three artists let their personalities join in music and dance through which they bridge their cultural, geographic and historic difference.Guy N. Fraser, social pedigogist and radio journalist from Washington DC, has met many musicians in his career and will discuss the different
improvisation concepts of being foreign and different with the three artistis.André Jolles studied music and dance at the Folkwang School in Essen. He is a dancer and choreographer of contemporary dance.
Dawanivéria Mafunga is a dancer and choreographer and has been an member of the ensemble of the Companhia Nacional de Canto e Danca, Maputo/Mosambik since 1996.
William Parker is one of the most sought after Top Free Jazz bassists in the international scene.
