“Barack Obama’s New Foreign Policy –Hope for Europe?”
On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama took the oath of office as president of the United States of America. His inauguration speech had been awaited with great anticipation, as he would prepare his fellow Americans for his upcoming political course toward change. What priorities did he set – in domestic and particularly in foreign policy?
Renowned foreign policy expert Professor Dr. Dr. Karl Kaiser teaches at Harvard
University and is recognized as an eminent authority in the field of
international relations. On this evening he analyzed Obama’s foreign
policy agenda and its implications for Europe and discussed this topic
