“Against Bush or America”

Reservations among Germans with respect to America are widespread. But are they directed against the country and its society or against the person of the present president George W. Bush? Precisely what or who is the criticism directed against? And how is the upcoming change in government in the USA going to affect the German view of America? Axel Birkenkämper and Jared Sonnicksen got to the core of German anti-Americanism in a conversation, discussing the topic with the audience with a view to the latest developments in the U.S. presidential campaign.
