In his first year in office President Obama had to deal with different challenging projects. For instance the change in the military strategy in Iraq and Afghanistan, the reform of the health care system in the US, new policy in climate protection ant the efforts to overcome the global financial and economic crisis. For his engagement for a world without nuclear weapons Obama will receive the Nobel Prize for peace on December 10th. However not all of his political decisions are popular. What is the balance after 12 months in office? Three leading experts on transatlantic relations discussed the first year of the Obama-Administration in a very lively and controversial panel talk.
