Brandenburger Tor beim Fall der Mauer

Breakfast-Roundtable

»The Fall of the Wall from an American Perspective«

Hope Harrison is Associate Professor of History and International Affairs at George Washington University, and currently Senior Fulbright Scholar in Germany at the  Bundesstiftung zur Aufarbeitung der SED-Diktaturand. She is one of the leading American experts of the cold war and the relationship between the U.S., Europe and Russia. Dr. Harrison has also served in the White House on the national Security Council in both the Clinton and Bush Administrations from 2000-2001.

The discussion with Hope Harrison and the deputy editor in chief of the foreign desk of WDR TV, Arnd Henze, will be an interesting debate between two experts – above all with an American eyewitness of the fall of the wall and a transatlanticist with passion.

Due to restricted room capacity, the number of participants is limited.
