One year after the collapse of the bank Lehman Brothers, David A. Singer, Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, took stock of the international financial and economic crisis and analyses prospects of how to find a way out of the crisis. Specialized in the subject international political economy with a focus on international capital market regulations, the influence of the global capital flow on political decision processes of governments or international institutions, Singer primarily looked on political effects which are connected to the financial crisis.
